Extreme cultural landscapes in Tierra del Fuego
Abstract
This article analyzes the application of the concept of extreme cultural landscape to Tierra del Fuego Island (Chile). This perspective of analysis is complemented with the notion of palimpsest (overlapping layers) as a way of understanding the occupation of the territory in the past.
