Starting in the 1970s, the study of quality of life, from a biomedical, psychological and social perspective, began to become more systematic and relevant in the academic world. Quality of life has been defined mainly from a subjective point of view (WHO, 1995), highlighting people's perception of various areas of their lives, where the important thing is to highlight the relevance of the social and cultural context and of the system of values in which they experience their daily lives.
